Future Families is a non-profit organization rendering quality services to orphans and vulnerable children and people infected with HIV/AIDS in South Africa. This is the reality of families infected and affected by HIV in South Africa, and it is by no means the optimal family environment for young children to develop into well-functioning young adults.
While there has been light shown on the LGBTQI+ community with many campaigns set on reducing the stigmatization faced by members of this community, we can all agree that there is still more to be done. PSDS hosted a support group with Wits Reproductive Health Institute (WRHI), Lifeline, Sex Workers Education and Advocacy Taskforce (SWEAT)
Volunteers through our organisation, participate in community outreach programs which provide help to those most in need of assistance. The benefit of these programs is reflected in the improved health and economic outcomes of those who are at the receiving end of these outreach programs.
